Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Versas Solutions Limited (“versas”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use versas.dev, why we collect it, and your rights under the GDPR and Irish data protection law.
1. What this site does
This website describes our services and lets you contact us about work. It is not an account-based product and does not require registration.
2. Data we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us, mainly through:
- Work request form — name, email address, company name (optional), type of work, tech stack notes, work description, timeline, and budget range (optional).
- Email — whatever you include when you write to [email protected].
When you visit the site, our hosting and security provider may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, request time, and similar server logs. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics pixels on this site.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
- Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals — legitimate interests, and where relevant steps prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
- Running and securing the website — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Legal and accounting obligations where they apply (Art. 6(1)(c)).
We do not use your enquiry data for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who processes it for us
We use third parties to operate the site and receive form submissions:
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security for versas.dev.
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — receives the work request form and forwards it to us by email.
- Google Fonts — loads fonts from Google’s servers when you view the site (your browser may contact Google; see Google’s own privacy information).
Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms under their own terms.
We do not sell personal data.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients — typically up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised unless we need to keep a record longer for legal reasons.
- Clients and contracts — for the duration of the relationship and for as long as required by law (for example tax and company records).
- Server and security logs — retained only as long as needed for security and operations, subject to our host’s defaults and our configuration.
6. Cookies
This site does not set its own analytics or marketing cookies. Essential technical cookies or similar storage may be used by our host or security provider to deliver and protect the site. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your rights
Subject to Irish and EU law, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase data in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability where applicable;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (not our primary basis for contact forms).

8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (including HTTPS and limiting access to enquiry mailboxes). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
This site is aimed at business customers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the revised policy.
